向来热爱唱歌的泰国首相巴育上周五（9日）发布了自行填词的新曲《钻石之心》，歌词以坚贞的爱情作意象，鼓励泰国民众勇敢面对难关，祝愿全国团结。新曲上载至YouTube至今，已有超过14万点击率，但逾30000个用户表示“不喜欢”；赞好数目仅有1000个。
综合外媒报导，过往已有《因为你是泰国》及《希望与信念》等作品的巴育再有新作，这首歌由巴育填词，并由一位军官演唱。歌词内容大意是说，希望与心爱的女性共同克服障碍，共筑未来。据悉，歌词中的女性，指的就是泰国。
在副歌中指“将你的心变成一颗真正的钻石，肩并肩，难关绝不是问题”；又高唱“你为我带来重大启发，令我为你而奋斗，你知不知道，你脸上的笑容，就是我愉快的来源”。
《钻石之心》引起网民的热烈讨论，有人批评“我不想要一个写下歌曲，只为自我感到良好的领袖”，认为他应立即辞职转战乐坛；另有人认为人民要的是新的选举而不是新歌。不过，亦有网民留言大赞《钻石之心》的歌词有意思，认为泰国人应保持心境开朗。
